I looked at different sounds and decided which ones I liked and which ones to try with my film. I tried a few different ideas. When I made the track that I wanted to use I wanted to change the volume of different parts of the track so the volume was increasing to a climax and then mellowed out. I thought this effect would go with my film and it was the effect that I wanted to give the audience

Editing
when it came to editing I uploaded my footage to imovie and started selecting bits that I liked and went well with my idea
I started to piece the film together and put the story together. I picked specific parts of my footage and put it together, it took me a few attempts to perfect my film and it was done mainly by trial and error.
filming
I started filming the raw footage for my film. I filmed over the same things a few times this way I could select what bits I liked the best and had plenty of choice to see what worked well and what didn't. I filmed my basic idea and decided to film bits that I could add in if I felt it worked well with the film. I tried to use several shot types for each particular scene, this meant I would have varied shot types and had the choice when it came to editing. i tried to use levels in my filming to show power of the trainer over the boxer.

planning
In order to start my film I needed to plan, first by making a mind map of potential ideas this helped me decide on what idea I should use.
my ideas were a horror about zombies a thriller about terrorism and an action about a boxer
i decided to use my boxer idea as it was the one I liked the best.
I then started to story board my idea, this then meant I could ask others what they thought of it and take their advise on what worked and what didn't. I then made my final story board.
After I had done all this I needed to work out what would be the best location to start my filming, so I made a list of possible locations and decided which one worked best for my film. The location that I thought worked the best was a dusty garage, as it worked well with my idea of a poor boxer trying to make it as a professional.
